How Kariyan builds its market data.
Trust comes from knowing what a number means. Here is where the data comes from, what it covers, and how Kariyan suggests jobs for your profile.
Method
What to know about our figures
- 01
Where the data comes from
Kariyan analyzes job listings on German company career pages. The insights show data collected on a stated date, not a real-time count.
- 02
How current the figures are
Each report gives its data date. Listings may have changed or closed since then.
- 03
Duplicate listings
The same job can appear on more than one page. Kariyan aims to identify and combine duplicates, so these figures describe the listings in our index, not a complete count of the entire market.
- 04
Language detection
We estimate the language a listing is written in from its text. Language requirements are recorded separately, and only when the listing states them. Many listings state none, and those count as unknown. A listing written in German does not always mean German is required. Both figures are estimates.
- 05
Remote detection
Remote, hybrid, and on-site are classified from the posting, rather than trusting a single field.
- 06
Job-type classification
Titles are grouped into job types with rules. Clusters below a minimum sample size are not published, so no figure rests on too little data.
- 07
How job suggestions work
Kariyan compares details in your profile with information in a job listing. The aim is to show which parts of your profile contribute to a suggested match.
What we do not claim
We do not publish salaries from our job index, or interview and success rates we cannot back up. Where numbers are missing, we say so.
- 01Tell Kariyan what you want and where you can work.
- 02See why a job fits before you spend time preparing.
- 03Review the application before you choose to send it.
